As we all know computer retouching is involved in every fashion and beauty image that we see. I found this clip extremely interesting to see what programs like photoshop can offer, made available through technology. Retouching is an industry standard in the world of fashion and consumers are becoming more aware of such technology. Retouching can fix anything from dark circles,to making an individuals complexion come across a few shades darker, it makes people believe there is a cure for acne and can alter the lighting if the photograph was taken from the wrong angle. Retouching can fix everything- don't believe everything you see!

I also find this topic very interesting. I read an article once where Ralph and FHM magazine were criticised for their use of photoshop where a well-known, toned netball player was edited to the point of not even looking like a netball player anymore, with no muscle definition and a tiny frame.
Another model was outraged when her photos emerged in Ralph magazine not even looking that much like her anymore. Her face had been distorted to a completely different shape and her complexion and hair had also been altered.
You wonder why certain editors even bother choosing particular models when photoshop could make anyone look like "Someone".
